I had a mixed experience at Intercontinental Porto. While the location was fantastic and the atmosphere striking, my initial room was noisy due to a karaoke spot nearby, which made it challenging to sleep. The staff provided professional service, but I faced issues with my check-out process, which left a sour note during an otherwise lovely stay.
My stay at the Intercontinental Porto was truly really good. the stunning beauty of the hotel along with its central location made exploring the city a breeze. I was blown away by the generous size of my room, which offered a peaceful view despite being in a bustling area. The service, especially from the concierge team, was excellent. they went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction throughout my visit.
I had an overall excellent stay at the Intercontinental Porto - Palacio Das Cardosas. The location was unbeatable, right in the heart of Porto, although some construction nearby was a minor annoyance (at least the staff kept us informed!). The room was spacious and luxurious, featuring a comfortable bed that allowed for great sleep. However, I did have some issues with the concierge, who initially provided a poor restaurant recommendation. Fortunately, Barbara, one of the managers, stepped in and sorted it out promptly.

I especially appreciated my spacious room and the beautifully presented breakfast options. However, the ongoing construction outside was a slight distraction during my visit.
